Preamble

These regulations (hereinafter referred to as “the Regulations”) define the terms, operating conditions and benefits of the loyalty program implemented by The French Bastards, called The Bastards Club.

This program is administered by Groupe TFB, with a share capital of €3,179.60, whose registered office is located at 61 rue Oberkampf, 75011 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number B 839 983 285 (hereinafter referred to as “The French Bastards”).

The Bastards Club program is intended for customers of The French Bastards and aims to offer them exclusive benefits under the terms defined in these Regulations.

Joining the program implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Regulations by each member.

 

Article 1 – Purpose of the Program

The Bastards Club loyalty program allows members to:

  • Accumulate points with every in-store purchase.

  • Redeem these points for products offered by The French Bastards.

  • Enjoy exclusive offers and benefits.

Each member has a digital loyalty card, available for download upon registration.

 

Article 2 – Conditions of Membership

2.1 Eligibility Criteria

  • Membership is open to any natural person aged 18 or over.

  • Legal entities (companies, associations, etc.) are not eligible.

2.2 Registration Process

Upon registration, the member must:

  • Provide accurate personal information.

  • Create an account with an email address and password.

  • Accept these Regulations by checking the corresponding box.

2.3 Loyalty Account Usage Rules

  • The loyalty account is nominative, personal, and non-transferable.

  • Only one account per person is allowed.

  • Any attempted fraud, creation of multiple accounts, or abusive use may result in permanent account deletion and loss of associated benefits.

2.4 Confirmation of Membership

  • Once registration is validated, the member may immediately download their digital loyalty card.

  • This card displays only the member’s first and last name.

  • The member benefits from the program as soon as the registration is validated.

Article 3 – Points Accumulation

3.1 Accumulation Mechanism

  • €1 spent = 1 point credited (cents are not counted; rounding down to the nearest euro).

  • The member must present their digital card before payment for points to be credited.

  • Only purchases made in physical French Bastards stores in France are eligible.

  • Purchases made via delivery platforms or resellers do not generate points.

3.2 Challenges

  • Members can earn additional points by completing Bastards challenges.

  • The points scale for each challenge is available in the personal account area.

  • The French Bastards reserves the right to modify, add or remove challenges without prior notice.

3.3 Referral Program

  • A member may refer a physical person who does not yet have a Bastards Club account.

  • The referrer receives referral points when the referred person joins the program.

  • The referred member receives referral points once they make their first in-store purchase.

  • Self-referral (via multiple accounts) is strictly prohibited.

3.4 Point Validity

  • Points are valid for 12 rolling months. Each new purchase extends the validity of the entire balance by an additional 12 months.

  • Beyond this period, points automatically and permanently expire without compensation.

  • Customers will receive an SMS during the month their points are due to expire.

Article 4 – Balance Consultation and Updates

The points balance is automatically updated after each validated purchase or challenge.
Members can check their real-time balance through their personal account.

In case of an anomaly, members may contact customer service via the website’s contact form and provide proof of purchase for correction.

Article 5 – Use of Points

5.1 Redeeming Points

  • Points can be redeemed for The French Bastards products.

  • The points required for each product can be viewed in the personal account area.

  • The French Bastards reserves the right to modify, without notice, the list of available products and associated scales.

5.2 Redemption Process

To redeem points, the member must:

  1. Log into their personal account.

  2. Select the desired product.

  3. Confirm the redemption by clicking “Unlock”.

Once validated, the product remains available for 90 days. After this period, the reward is permanently lost, with no refund in points.
Redemption must be completed in-store upon presentation of the digital card.

5.3 Limitations

  • Once validated, a redemption cannot be cancelled or modified.

  • Product availability is not guaranteed; in case of stock shortage, the customer must return at a later date.

  • To prevent fraud, loyalty card use is limited to once per day per customer.

  • Points may be accumulated up to a maximum of 400 points. Once this limit is reached, no additional points can be credited.

Article 6 – Exclusive Offers

Members may benefit from exclusive, strictly personal and non-transferable offers.
These offers are valid only in The French Bastards stores.
They do not apply to purchases made via delivery platforms.
Offers are communicated by email, SMS, or wallet push notifications.

Article 7 – Modification or Suspension of the Program

The French Bastards reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate The Bastards Club program at any time.

Article 8 – Fraud and Abusive Behavior

Any fraud or attempted fraud (creation of fake accounts, fake referrals, fraudulent use of points, resale of benefits, etc.) results in immediate account deletion and permanent loss of points and benefits.
The French Bastards reserves the right to refuse membership or deactivate any account in the event of abusive or non-compliant use.

Article 9 – Limitation of Liability

The French Bastards cannot be held responsible in the event of:

  • A technical issue temporarily preventing access to the program,

  • An error or delay in points allocation,

  • Temporary product unavailability in-store,

  • Any situation beyond its control.

No compensation or indemnity may be claimed by members in such cases.

Article 10 – Termination

Members may unsubscribe at any time via their personal account.
Deletion results in the immediate and permanent loss of all accumulated points and benefits.

Article 11 – Personal Data

The data collected is necessary for managing the loyalty program and varies according to member type:

  • Standard customers: email.

  • Local business partners: first name, last name, email, phone number, SIRET, business name and address.

  • Key Accounts: first name, last name, email, phone number.

Data is processed in compliance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act.
Each member has the following rights:

  • Access

  • Rectification

  • Deletion

  • Restriction of processing

  • Objection

These rights may be exercised via the personal account or by contacting customer service.
Data is retained for the duration of program participation, then according to applicable legal requirements.
Data is never shared with unauthorized third parties.

Article 12 – Claims and Disputes

Any claim relating to the program must be submitted to customer service, which commits to respond within 7 business days.
If an amicable resolution is not reached, French law shall apply, and the member may refer the matter to the relevant consumer mediator.
French courts have sole jurisdiction over any dispute relating to the program.
